CELL in my living room right now. But it doesn't say Toshiba. =] It's staring at me.
Outstanding.
Its funny that the author writes:
-- "Price waves important things like the lack of a rumble feature in the Sixaxis controller off as if they’re not big deal."
and then Price states directly:
-- "In Resistance, you’re getting hit a lot and firing all the time. If we were to use the rumble like we did in Ratchet, it would never stop rumbling. That’s one potential drawback. Me personally, I like the lighter controller. And I actually like the way ...
that's true, SNE got pwned by Nintendo when they told them to take the SuperDisc made by some guy named "Ken" and shove it up there arses. I think that's been SNE's biggest motivating factor against Ninty since the end of the SNES.
Rider360 - You make good points re: the gaming aspect of the biz and how the manufacturers have lost sight of that. I think that these guys are drinking there own kool-aid at this point and to a certain degree have forgotten about us gamers...
C'mon do a little research. Who would beleive or care what this 50 yr. old hack has to say about the future of video games?

In ten years, he'll be dead!
if you are a true fan then you are cleary aware of the tremendous licensing barriers that Kaz encountered immediately. From things like particular livery sponsors to the Ferrari's and Lambhorgini's absence (which I'll comment on further), (but the inclusion of the powerhouse RuF)to the damage modelling. 1.) No one wanted their cars smashed man on a game to show realistic crashing algorithms and how fragile their creation might be, especially by some upstart college kid -- lawsuits, blah, bl...
I don't know about you, but I remember the glory days when Playstation was going at it with Nintendo and then XBOX always fighting, but a good fight. The best games and most innovation was to be had at that time. I won't go into a diatribe to prove the point, but 1990 - 2005 was a very, very good run for SNE and gamers ALL in general. Remember we're talking about an outfit that's sold nearly a quarter million home consoles. So 40/30/30 - that would be beautiful with a good old-fashioned s...
how in the hell is he gonna write this bile when roughly a month ago PC World wrote this about the PS3:
--"Expensive for a game console, but a great bargain for a console plus a Blu-ray Disc player, the PS3 is worth the wait." -- http://www.pcworld.com/arti...
WTF????? a/w I wish people would just stfu and just let the sales go the way they ...
LOL
investor this makes me happy. Don't get me wrong though, I'm still looking long-term and big picture. I want all of gaming to do well.
is what's known as an old-fashioned "reach", if I've ever heard one.
-- "if they can't get their investment back because of PS3, then they are basically getting it up the behind from Sony who is taking their development dollars and giving them nothing but red ink in return." --
Like selling more PS3's is a bad thing. Have you gone mad? Since when did SNE go into business with Phillips? If SNE does good Mtsushita is doing good because they're direc...
I was just posting this article when I opened another window to check the homepage.lol
--glad to see the MojoPlay will be available for the PS3 too. btw a slim XBOX 360 or PS2 would not be able to handle anything larger than an 8" screen pal, unless of course you don't mind that. =]
pessimistic there Micro. Why would they "sit" on store shelves and "gather dust" in warehouses when they're being shipped to be sold? I mean that is the simple point, right? Do you have a crystal ball in your room or are you a true clairvoyant? DO you not realize that as long as the product is shipped before midnight 13/31/06 on U.S. docks is counted until that time for the books in '06. The deposit checks aren't due back to the investors until 3/15/07. So as long as...
*[raises left eyebrow and asks], " - what?"
this makes the third player that the PS3 BD player has whupped hands down in the last three weeks. What the hell is goin' on?lol
Bandai owes us PS3 owners a big apology for the last Gundam game. Hell they should give this one away for free, but I understand how things can go at launch. Good to see at least that they haven't abandoned the series.
are a prime example of a company understanding customer concerns and meeting those concerns / demands with class. Sure they could've rushed out an unfinished product like Evolution did to the poor Japanese and like Bandai did to us in the States(sorry!), but instead they'd rather fade the heat for delaying a proven product to deliver the product as promised and most likely (knowing their obsession) even better. This move will not only pay off for SNE, Kaz, and PD in the end, but it's also g...
I'm speechless. This movie is going to CRUSH all competitors to death. Michael Bay and Spielberg to the end - fuggettaboutit.
then...what does that mean. 360 fans cannot wait to post seemingly "bad" SNE news like there "supposed to. As if someone's paying 'em to do it all day every day. I juist laugh when a lot of the efforts go unnoticed and there's maybe one or two comments on it.lol And what do you guys always say when you think you're driving the last nail into SNE with your keyboards? "Oh, this is news - 4 - gamers, meaning I post comments about news pertaining to games and if you don't ...
makes some decent Dolby licensed headphones, however having that switched on all the time in order to hear the highest clarity and fidelity is not a good sign of overall quality (let's way to see the review of the AX360 by engadget, etc..), they don't come with optical cables for the xbox360 and one other thing Creative doesn't have -- rumble. You know SNE's gotta be sittin' on somehtin' with rumble. It's just a matter of freakin' time.
